An original drawing in ink, graphite , watercolour and chalk on watercolour paper. The subject is a very early 19th century wax model anatomy by Clemente Susini in the collection in Cagliari Anatomy Museum where I work sometimes as a conservator. I am fascinated by the sense of light and life in the model, who seems to be one-half submerged, one-half in air, dissected and complete, yet serene and peaceful. An observational drawing of a work from the anatomical artist I admire greatly.

Size 29.5 x 21 cm, A4 standard , on thick watercolour paper, signed and dated 2021 ready to frame. You may hang the work vertically or horizontally as you prefer.
